The CFPO-PAL started nineteen years ago when three
Police Officers got together and started a youth sports league, the
Christian Federation of Police Officers (CFPO). We started with four
football teams. Tow years later we added Volleyball and Basketball Leagues
and then we added Tennis. The league just kept growing and growing. In
August of 2005 we decided to incorporate and join the Police Athletic
League, PAL. PAL is an Internationally known Police Youth League and it will
help open a lot of doors for the kids by holding Tournaments throughout the
Country. The corporation, CFPO-PAL is set up to help kids by providing a
safe environment for civic, athletic, recreational, and educational
opportunities, overseen by Police Officers using Christian Morals as a guide
line. The CFPO-PAL is a non discrimination corporation.
The CFPO-PAL has leased twenty acres where
we are planning to build a recreational facility for the sole purpose of
fulfilling our commitment to the kids and giving them a safe place of their
own. The League has over twenty five hundred kids playing five different
sports. When the recreational facility is completed they will all be able to
play in one safe location. It is the long range goal of the CFPO-PAL to have
as many kids, as we can in the Central Texas area coming to our sports
complex.

I give a special thanks to the late Captain Gil Peyton
one of the Founding Officers of the League and a good friend to the kids and
me. God bless you Gil.
